Carlos Mata received classical training in Barcelona and Paris (\u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts). Carlos Mata’s sculptures are imbued with memories of his childhood, with the warmth and richness of Mediterranean culture, behind the apparent simplicity of the forms there are thousands of hours of work and study.
Carlos Mata’s horses and bulls seem playful but retain the pride and characteristic features of each animal without the need for bulk. Its shapes represent the collective memory of ancient cultures, linked to modern reality. Carlos Mata was an internationally renowned artist, his work is part of public and private collections in Europe, South America, the United States, etc.<\/p>\n
