February 28th \u2013 March 13th 2025 The exhibition Forme d’anima <\/em>by the artist Angela Rosi opens on Friday 28 February 2025 at 5.00 pm at the Galleria Imagineria in Florence.<\/p>\n Small clay heads emerging from the sand, like latent memories that resurface from when Angela Rosi, as a little girl, shaped dolls and heads with the mud that her father brought from the river. Childish gestures that have always accompanied her are now rediscovered in this installation where the ancient expressions of her soul find life again.
As the artist herself mentions: \u00ab<\/span>The clay heads come out of the sand and are an expression of parts of me, the sand covers what is unexpressed, it is a “treasure” buried and rediscovered in the depths of my inner sea. The treasure has always been in me, I would say innate, but “I was here and I didn’t know it<\/i>“. With strength and joy parts of my Soul emerged taking a shape, my Spirit entered the clay shaping it to reveal itself in matter “the Spirit becomes Flesh”. They often express moods that are not always joyful but when liberated they become light.\u00bb<\/span>
And again: \u00ab<\/span>With these works I have arrived at a nucleus to open it and donate it by sharing trust in our resources which are often hidden by so much accumulated dirt (fears, anxieties, anger, etc.). It was a cleaning job until I got to my treasure (Soul), that is, what I am and the form with which I can express myself in the world by giving away something of myself.\u00bb<\/span>
The installation is accompanied by the series of Planets<\/em> which tell of the artist’s passion for astrology, representing the dialogue between macrocosm and microcosm, archetypes that allow us to discover what lies beyond appearance.<\/p>\n
