The symbolic color recalls for us the classical world, from the color of blood to the volcanic lava which emerges molding<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>itself into ancestral forms. The &#8220;Rojo Mediterr\u00e1neo&#8221; exhibition combines the elegance and grace of Carlos Mata&#8217;s bronze sculptures, horses and bulls with an essential and stylized form, symbols of strength and power, accompanied by the warm colors of the paintings of the Argentine artist Oscar Bento, capturing the environment and the life that has formed and inspired him. Clear and light shapes, geometrical surfaces, tending to monochrome, like flows of precious pigment, seem to reflect all the colors of the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our gallery has been active for 24 years in the historic center of Florence. It is a lively meeting place, a source of ideas, a space where dialogue and comparison between various arts takes place, the scene of many initiatives, events, exhibitions and the meetings between artists and writers. Forme limpide e chiare, superfici geometriche, tendenti al monocromo, come colate di prezioso pigmento, sembrano riflettere tutte le tinte del mondo. La Galleria Immaginaria \u00e8 attiva da 24 anni nel centro storico di Firenze. E\u2019 un luogo vivace di incontro, una fucina di idee, uno spazio di dialogo e di confronto fra arti diverse, teatro di tante iniziative, eventi, mostre e incontro con artisti e letterati. Carlos Mata ha ricevuto una formazione classica a Barcellona e Parigi (\u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts). Le sculture di Carlos Mata sono intrise dei ricordi della sua infanzia, del calore e della ricchezza della cultura mediterranea. Ci sono migliaia di ore di lavoro, di studio dietro l'apparente semplicit\u00e0 delle forme.\nI cavalli e i tori di Carlos Mata sembrano giocosi ma conservano l'orgoglio e le caratteristiche di ogni animale senza bisogno di ingombro. Le sue forme rappresentano la memoria collettiva di culture antiche, legate alla realt\u00e0 moderna. Sono le Americhe che gli danno l'autodisciplina e il piacere della sperimentazione che si riflette poi nel suo lavoro artistico.&nbsp;Arriva a Madrid nel maggio 1980, nel bel mezzo della scena madrilena, e in seguito si stabilisce a J\u00e1vea (Alicante).\nArtista autodidatta, trasmette nel suo lavoro un tocco di ordine disciplinare quasi accademico. La sua personalit\u00e0 calma e riflessiva \u00e8 presente in tutte le sue opere.&nbsp;Dal 2011 indaga in modo astratto le sensazioni del suo mondo interiore, del suo ambiente naturale.&nbsp;Il suo lavoro artistico \u00e8 un inno alla bellezza e all'estetica, con una tendenza al monocromo e una ricerca dell'essenziale delle sensazioni che la vita reale gli procura.
