8 December 2021 – 8 January 2022

On Wednesday 8th December at 4 pm, the exhibition Oh Pinocchio! will be inaugurated at Galleria Immaginaria (Via Guelfa 22A red) with an installation by Mario Francesconi. This initiative stems from the extraordinary work that the artist has long been engaged in for the beautiful edition of The Adventures of Pinocchio, published in 2019 by Ronzani Editore. A volume illustrated by about a hundred “portraits” of Collodi’s puppet. Page after page, Francesconi’s “hand-to-hand” is revealed, offering uninterrupted surprises together with that mysterious archetype that Pinocchio represents in everyone’s imagination. Threadlike drawings in pencil and ink, extremely refined variations of line and colour, rapid sketches and meticulous collages, an assembly of paper and materials that are both poor and ‘precious’. An entire workshop where Francesconi once again has expressed his astonishing inventive capacity and where, in each work, the perfect gesture of a great master of contemporary art can be recognized.

Francesconi’s Pinocchios will be exhibited at Galleria Immaginaria with a special installation studied together with the artist which enhances the figurative variety of this undertaking and which offers visitors the opportunity of immersing themselves in a new, wonderful metamorphosis of this Collodian character.

For the occasion, Mario Francesconi has executed his “artistic interventions” on 21 specimens of the volume published by Ronzani, which can be viewed at the Gallery.

Open to the public: Monday to Sunday from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.galleriaimmaginaria.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/vetrofania_pinocchio_marioFrancesconi.jpg” title_text=”vetrofania_pinocchio_marioFrancesconi” _builder_version=”4.14.2″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”63px|||||” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.11.4″ background_color=”#ededed” background_enable_image=”off” custom_padding=”39px|0px|41px|0px|false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_gallery gallery_ids=”5540,5519,5522,5525,5528,5531,5534,5537″ posts_number=”40″ show_title_and_caption=”off” show_pagination=”off” module_class=”ds-hover-gallery” _builder_version=”4.14.2″ custom_css_gallery_item=”margin: 0 !important;||clear: none !important;||width: 25% !important;||padding: 3px;” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_gallery][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

8 December 2021 – 8 January 2022 inauguration8 December 2021, h 4pm On Wednesday 8th December at 4 pm, the exhibition Oh Pinocchio! will be inaugurated at Galleria Immaginaria (Via Guelfa 22A red) with an installation by Mario Francesconi.
