The Galleria Immaginaria is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition Strada Maestra. The Wandering Soul of Gustavo Maestre.

Curated by Laura Monaldi, the exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in Gustavo Maestre’s artistic universe: an intimate and profound journey through intense colors, ancestral symbols, and archetypal figures. The Venezuelan artist’s works are vibrant expressions of a nomadic soul, suspended between memory, exile, and rebirth. The installation conveys stories of fragility and resilience, exploring inner geographies shaped by reflection, emotion, wounds, and hope.

Maestre’s painting becomes both ritual and narration: through fiery reds, deep blues, and luminous yellows, he reveals a universal dimension where pain is transformed into memory and memory into hope. His canvases serve as bridges between worlds and cultures, employing a visual language that transcends boundaries and engages viewers in a unique aesthetic and existential experience.
