FLUXUS LOCI
Tatiana Stadnichenko2nd – 16th May 2025
Opening Friday 2nd May 2025, h 6.00 pm
An intimate and retrospective reflection on two particularly significant places and moments in the artist’s “Italian” life, the FLUXUS LOCI exhibition contains two souls:
Ten days with Christo, diary works dedicated to the period spent with the master, working on the realization of the famous landscape art project “Floating Piers”, on Lake Iseo. This experience, in addition to being of great artistic inspiration, represented for Tatiana Stadnichenko the gateway to a radically new life.
City of Transformations, a project dedicated to Florence, which from a dream (literally) has become home and the dearest witness of a sweet and inexorable passing of time, in its new and almost elusive life… a concept that the artist addresses in 9 silkscreen prints and a paper sculpture.
FLUXUS LOCI is emblematic of Tatiana Stadnichenko’s artistic research, entirely focused on her relationship with the environment she inhabits. The common thread that unites the two souls of the exhibition lies in the artist’s emotional and sensorial memory of two key places in her life, governed by a sense of enchanting and uncertain passage, of a slow and multifaceted flow (of the Self), of a fluid instability that becomes a source of apprehension and restlessness, but also of creativity and continuous exploration.
The genius loci – here a flow…
