Myriam Cappelletti

22th April – 11th May
opening saturday 22th April 2023,  at 6 pm

In the folds of time that flees inexorably ands in the frenetic rush of everyday life there is a moment in which everything is lost; in which reality, ardent and chaotic, becomes thought, imagination and poetics through images; in which the need to stop and listen is the host; in which the living space becomes a moment of reflection and human time chimes the seconds of subjective time, in search of a new identity and a new way forward.

The chair as a space for thought; the book as a tool for investigation and as a opening on existence; paper as a place of memory; the cage as a refuge; eyes as a mirror of a new opportunities and, finnaly, silence as a echo of constantly evolving modernity and as a reminder of a primitive experience.

Through the works on show the artists lets her thoughts free in search of evocations lost in memory and a balance between a before and an after, between old and new identities, to discover herself and the incredible ways that art can open and investigate.

The eclectic and multifaceted personality on Miriam Cappelletti is capable of operating on the artistic material, offering the viewer the perception of a inner world recreated beyond the enigmas on time and space. In the possibility on offering a real symbiosis with the work, in which to be ablate read and recognize herself, the artist moves between signs, symbols and manipulated matter, in a continuous balance of appearances, absences and contents, where to manifest an intimate world and personal:

From graphics to frescoes, up to stitched and shaped fabrics, Myriam Cappelletti’s artistic research aims at a particular and very personal poetics, placed halfway between the dreamlike and the mnemonic, through figurative fragments that go beyond appearances of common sense, to reinterpret the change and flow on time. In this direction, the signs that the artist traces indelibly becomes ancestral symbols that evoke and signify the present, thanks precisely to the infinite possibilities of perceptual experience and the formal dialectics of artistic materials.

In her works, materiality coincides with and intimate, reflective and dreamy dimension, in which an artistic vein strongly emerges dedicated to purposeful and rational, but at the same time creative, planning; the form as a concrete tangible expression of an idea; the sign-symbol as a universal spirituality that lives again in the work of art; the chromaticism, intense and lyrical, like voice and expression of a poetics with in informal and gestural tendency, which has its roots in history, myth and dreams: modalities that are inseparable form each other, which dialogue harmoniously, creating a synthetic language and an unprecedented artistic syntax, but capable of capturing the attention of the conscience that enjoy and know how to see, beyond the work f art, the intimate artistic meaning that Miriam Cappelletti entrusts to her works from time to time.
