As Lara-Vinca Masini writes: “Francesco Maria Testa has always known how to maintain his strong sense of humanity and kindness throughout his working career. His consideration towards others has contributed to intensifying his sensibility towards nature and towards music, even contemporary art.

Worth of interest a series of photographs taken with a digital camera in the area of Siena, one of the most extraordinary Tuscan landscapes: the undulating, rolling countryside interrupted by a variety of small particularities. The warm colour of the crops meets that of the “crete” or the areas where the winter frost has blackened the stubble, creating geometric forms which Testa captures perfectly.”

His works, despite being imprinted on the photographic surface, appear at first sight to be real pictorial compositions.
